Hi Guys Today i’d like to speak about 2 amazing products and more generally about a very nice new brand. This brand is called buttermilks This brand has an environmentally friendly behavior. And i think we should all have the same spirit and behaviour. As i was very interested by their approach i also wanted to try their products. First of all everything is plastic free ! and that’s super cool. No need to have an super heavy plastic to keep your chalk (or for your hands cream). No need to be vegan and/or eco-friendly if you are using natural think inside heavy plastic and crazy packaging . Those products are really eco friendly .
I’ll start with the chalk. I tired the Powder Day -Enhanced Fine Chalk “Powder Day is a fine chalk formulated by climbers. It contains natural, unscented plant powders alongside pure magnesium carbonate increasing your skin’s friction coefficient so you’ll notice a better grip with less chalk that lasts. As an added bonus, the plant powders also help coagulate the blood in any cuts/tears faster so you don’t leave your mark all over the holds “
The chalk is super fine. I can say that ’s everything is true ! I was very skeptical about the last sentence. But it’s true that during my testing period (around 1month), my hands were in better shape, and especially just after the session . I still don’t really understand why and how it can be possible …. but that’s a fact. The smell of the chalk is also amazing. Maybe you don’t care about that but i really liked it. The smell is not super strong but the smell of your chalk bag will be very pleasant . In average i also used less chalk than usual (maybe also because I really liked this chalk and i wanted to keep it as long as possible ¨¨) But i usually have very sweaty hand and even with less chalk my hands were perfectly dry. I also learn a very interesting thing while speaking with them

To sum up this chalk ticked all boxes. Super nice chalk , super nice packaging and a super nice spirit
I also tried one of their balm, they have 5 different balms in stock. I have to be honest i don’t really know if there is a difference between them expect the smell . I tried the Balm Ba Balm which is an all natural, vegan and organic balm specifically formulated to aid in healing cuts, scrapes, flappers . This product is a 2 in 1 as it carries a built-in file to get rid of any ripped, flapping, dead skin hanging out. I mainly use this balm straight after a session. It’s very convenient to remove dead skins and apply the balm only with on piece of kit. I also use this balm , because i usually need to take my bike or the subway after my session and i don’t want to have super greasy hands. This balm is not greasy but moisturizing .If you rub your hand a little while , the greasy aspect will disappear. I’m using others balms at home when I know that i won’t touch anything for a long time. But this balm is perfect if you have something to do just after your session. And if you want the greasy effect, you just have to apply more balm . The balm works very well, my hand s repaired very fast and i loved the smell of the balm. And the main advantage, here again, is the packaging . I’m fed up with heavy plastic for a small tube of cream. If you love climbing, your love rocks, so you love nature … so save our planet. And it can start with some small thinks like that ! If i needed to reproach something … they could have done a bigger size ! when you love something it goes very quickly. Overall i just would like to thanks Buttermilks for their work. And please stay like that with this amazing spirit. And please find a reseller in Europe ! would like to order more of your chalk and balm. But it doesn’t make sense if you have to ship a single chalk bag from US to Europe !!!!
